The third podcast episode has been uploaded. Got to the Podcast page to subscribe to the podcast or to download
the latest as well as all older podcast episodes.
I've begun to add some basic announcements to the podcast as well as the Shoutcast
station.
Essentially, I'm finally getting around to cleaning up the joint, make it a little more formal and not so scattered.
Look for several CD reviews coming soon as well as more regular updates and rotations to the Shoutcast station. In addition,
each new mix posted on the Shoutcast station will have a corresponding but higher quality podcast.
The Shoutcast stations
streams at 128kbps, while I'll set the Podcasts to run at 192kbps.

I've been grooving on an older release from Sasha and Digweed:
This series is nearly 12 years old, and though it's from the hey day of the trance scene, it's still very very contemporary sounding
and very listenable.

A new breaks mix "Broken Funk" has been sent out on Podcast. Click on the podcast link to sign up to the
podcast. Three new mixes have been upped to the Shoutcast server. I'm bumping up on my storage limit, so when I up the
next mix, I'll have to start taking some older mixes down. I expect to have about a mix a week going up, so there should be
a steady rotation of new stuff.

Two new mixes are up on the podcast as well as the Shoutcast station.
It's been pretty busy recently
with "real world" activities, but finally have some time to get in some mixing time.
I just picked up DJ Magazine at B&N,
and the CD that came with it is actually quite fun, "Glimmers Present DiskoDrunkards". It's Rock meets Funk meets Punk meets
Disco Kitsch. I've actually be pleasantly surprised that the disc isn't another drink coaster, which is what tends to come with
DJ Magazine.

A few new mixes upped to the podcast as well as the shoutcast rotation. A new techno mix is on it's
way as well and should be upped in the coming week.
One other bit of news. . . I'm now officially not just a Shoutcast DJ but
also an over the air DJ at a local college radio station. WQFS is the college station at Guilford college in my town of Greensboro,
NC. They allow volunteer "Community DJ's" to be part of their crew in addition to students. I'll be on Saturdays playin
indie rock and other non-mainstream music from 4PM to 6PM Eastern.
There's no web streaming of the station yet, but it should
be coming in October.
Look for some new music reviews coming soon. There's a lot to talk about that I've just not had time
to prep for samples to be heard from my site. . . perhaps I'll try embedding Youtube samples instead of creating my own.
